What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. It allows, for example, the connection to be secured or certain technical information to be remembered. Not all cookies are the same: some are essential for the website to function properly, others serve to track you for audience-measurement or advertising purposes.
The cookies we use
SpotVib uses only strictly necessary cookies. Specifically, these are the security cookies placed by our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, to protect the website against malicious bots and abusive traffic. Depending on the security configuration, these notably include:
These cookies are essential to the functioning and security of the website. They do not collect data for commercial purposes and cannot be disabled without preventing the website from working properly.
What we do not use
We do not use any audience-measurement cookies (such as Google Analytics), any advertising or marketing cookies, and no third-party trackers. We do not track your browsing and do not share any browsing data with advertisers.
Why there is no consent banner
The law requires your consent to be collected only when a website places non-essential cookies. As SpotVib uses only strictly necessary cookies, no prior consent is required — and we prefer to tell you this clearly rather than impose an unnecessary pop-up on you.
Managing or deleting cookies
You stay in control. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via their settings. Note: blocking security cookies may prevent certain parts of the website from working.
Mobile application
This policy concerns the website. The SpotVib mobile application is subject to separate processing, described in our Privacy Policy, with its own consent mechanism where applicable.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add audience-measurement or advertising tools, we will update this page and put in place a genuine consent mechanism (with a choice to accept or refuse).
